Toni D. Cooley

Chief Executive Officer

Toni has 30-plus years of experience in management, marketing, government relations, and law. She is responsible for SEC’s strategic direction and marketing. Toni holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Stephens College and J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Michael Thomas

President

Michael has a wide variety of financial, budgetary, managerial and systems improvement experience. He is a degreed Accountant with over 30 years of experience in financial and organizational management. He has managed budgets of over $400 million and has supervised as many as 50 managers and more than 2,000 employees. He has overseen operational functions including human resources, business services, transportation services, information technology services, facilities management, property/inventory accounting, and campus police, to name a few. Since the early 2000s, Michael has committed considerable energy, effort and study on organizational systemic improvement through human resource professional development, performance metrics monitoring and reporting and quality customer service. Michael is responsible for implementation of overall company strategy.

Joshua E. Ashaka

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

A Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant with more than 29 years of accounting, financial management, and consulting experience, Joshua is responsible for the accounting, finance, treasury, and information technology operations of SEC. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Jackson State University.

William "Bill" Cooley

Founder

William “Bill” Cooley, Chairman of the Board and Founder of Systems Consultants spent 50-plus years managing diverse organizations in academe, the military, industry, and small business. In the US Air Force for 21 years, Bill was decorated for his service in Vietnam with the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with Five Oak Leaf Cluster. Former Dean of the Business School at Jackson State University, he earned a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Tuskegee Institute, a Master of Science degree in Industrial Management from the University of North Dakota, and a Doctorate of Business Administration from Mississippi State University. During his tenure as a college professor, Bill established the consultancy that eventually led to the formation of SEC and other related companies.
